We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team in a permanent, four day per week role. You will work across our Retirement Living and Residential Aged Care facilities of Bolton Clarke Baycrest in Hervey Bay and Bolton Clarke Chelsea in Maryborough, and report to the Maintenance Team Leaders at both sites.

This position will undertake the regular corrective and routine maintenance around the site including buildings, equipment and grounds area and would be ideally suited to an experienced Handyman, Groundskeeper or Tradesman.

  • Engage, induct & manage external contractors
  • Grounds work to provide a pleasant & safe environment for our
    residents, staff and visitors.
What do we need from you?
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking maintenance duties
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building and allied trades in relation to maintenance
  • Experience in planning and managing job allocations in a timely manner
  • Sound knowledge of computer software programs
  • Empathy towards aged persons and their requirements living within a Retirement Village or Residential Care facility
  • Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • 2022 Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
