Sous Chef [Greece]


 

Following on from the amazing success of the launch of the new era of Zuma, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the team for 2023. In order to set you up for success, you will ideally join the team in one of our permanent locations for training before departing for the island next season.


Offering a sophisticated twist on the Japanese izakaya style of dining in an exclusive, yet relaxed style setting, Zuma is the place for all occasions.


We are looking for a Sous Chef who can create the immersive flavours of the Zuma menu.


What we are looking for in a SOUS CHEF:

  • Passion for your role and wanting to continue developing knowledge
  • Experienced manager, having lead teams in high volume environments
  • Hard working attitude and an impressive team player
  • Impressive level of knife skills and eye for detail
  • Experience working on different sections in high quality restaurants
  • Able to listen intently and then pass on knowledge to junior chefs
  • Can handle pressurised services and help others keep calm


You may be required to begin training in a different Zuma location before departing to the island. Accommodation is provided by the company along with transport to and from the restaurant.
