Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Develop the knowledge base of Caterpillar’s products, technologies, processes, services and systems, which you will use to:

• Learn and follow Caterpillar Engine Rating Development & Calibration process and procedure.

• Work on Engine Performance and Emission development project, Engine Rating Development, meet customer request, and meet China or other Regional Regulations

• Conduct of engine performance test, understand the diesel engine test techniques

• Create engine test plan, analyze test data, optimize engine performance and emission calibration to meet engineering target, create engineering report

• Summarize and communicate solution or summary via presentation to global customers, team members, and other business units regularly by means of tele-conference meetings

• Assist to contribute to the engine development of new products and processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an accredited Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, Thermal Energy, Vehicle Engineering or equivalent.

• Good knowledge of internal combustion engine structure, engine performance, engine test, engine validation.

• Excellent in problem analysis and solving skill

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

• Creative, keep interest in taking challenge and pressure

• Diligent, proactive, self-motived and open-minded

• Excellent in English (oral & written) Good Interpersonal skills.

• Hands-on

Desired Qualifications:

• Engine Performance & Emission Calibration experience

• Engine control knowledge

• Engine Regulations knowledge

• Engine Emission knowledge
