We are looking for a junior accountant to join our team. Assisting the accounting staff with numerous financial tasks and maintaining the accuracy and compliance of financial records, the junior accountant will be crucial. Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts receivable and payable, and bank reconciliations.
- Support the senior accountants in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to compile and analyse financial information for management reporting purposes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure all supporting documentation is properly filed and archived.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and reconcile client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection processes.
- Stay updated with UAE tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance, and advising the team on any changes that may impact the company and its clients.
Requirements:-
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
- English, Hindi, and Malayalam proficiency are necessary.
- 1-2 years of accounting or financial expertise, preferably in a tax advisory or auditing business.
- It is highly desirable to have knowledge of UAE tax laws and accounting principles.
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Excel, and accounting applications.
