Your new team and workplace
You will join Global QC Development, a newly formed area in Chr. Hansen, responsible for analytical method development, method responsibility and support to Chr. Hansen’s globally located QC functions.
The area consists of two departments: QC Development & Projects, and QC Competence Center. You will join QC Development & Projects, but you will need to support both departments, therefore your workplace will be at both at site Avedøre and site Hørsholm.
Global QC Development consists of approx. 35 people divided between different specialists, scientists, laboratory technicians and managers.
Your tasks as our student worker
As a student helper you will have a various set of tasks and responsibilities, including:

- Prepare and digitalize training material.
- Maintain and update procedures and working documents.
- Structure and report data.
- Laboratory support, like buffer production, equipment maintenance, ensuring laboratory supplies, etc.
- Participate in various QC projects.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a student at B.Sc or M.Sc level within relevant area, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or similar. You have at least completed the first two semesters of your education. Furthermore, you need to have the following qualification:
- User experience with Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Good writing skills.
- Basic laboratory experience.
You will have many different tasks and colleagues, therefore it’s important that you work structured and collaborate well with different people. You should be service minded and have a proactive approach to solving your tasks.
